BACKGROUND
David (Dave) Miller joined Onyx Defense as the Director of Solutions Engineering in 2022. He is a highly accomplished Systems Engineer with 20 years experience in the information technology and telecommunications fields, including managing enterprise server infrastructure and Tactical information systems over complex military networks. He has extensive experience in information technology and integration, with a broad background in operating systems, testing, systems integration, network systems design, installation, configuration, security, troubleshooting and problem resolution.
Dave is a 10-year U.S. Army Signal Corps veteran who deployed for Operation Iraqi Freedom with the 4th Infantry Division in 2003. Following his career in the U.S. Army, he deployed to Iraq as a contracted Systems Engineer and has since held positions as both a DA civilian and Senior SETA contractor. He went on to receive his Bachelors of Arts in Business Administration from Ashford University in 2012 as a member of the Veterans National Honor Society.
As a trusted and well-respected member of the signal community, he has advised and mentored many of the Army's Warrant Officers and Battalion/Brigade Senior Signal Officers. His experience and well-respected reputation has followed him throughout the Army's ever evolving Tactical/On The Move posture.
On a personal note, Dave believes in hard work, dedication, and preparedness for any situation. His commitment to lifelong learning is evidenced by his constant drive for growth and implementation of advanced systems engineering techniques and modalities.
